JSim Solvers Page
Introduction
This page describes JSim's numeric solver algorithms and how to control them when running a model. Numeric solvers are available for ordinary and partial differential equations (ODEs and PDEs), linear and non-linear implicit equations, and parameter optimization. JSim provides all solvers with default tuning parameters that are appropriate for most simple problems. However, when equations are particularly challenging or run-time performance particularly critical, users may choose to adjust solver parameters from their default values.
Tuning Guides:
The documents below describe best common practice when tuning solver algorithms for a particular problem.
